Planning for your wedding can sometimes feel like your head is about to explode especially when you begin your costing and budgeting. Hyds and I can totally relate as we felt the same thing when we were planning for our wedding back in 2012. As much as we wanted to have everything we want for our dream wedding, we also wanted to be realistic and save for our future and not spend all of our savings in a single day. Our best tip for soon to get married couples is be smart and learn to be creative with your resources.
It’s a good thing that there are so many online blogs that can help you for your wedding. One of our favorite blogs is The Rebellious Brides. I just love the fun and unconventional ideas they always come up it, always promoting originality and creativity in one’s wedding day. This is such a great help for couples to be able to plan a 300k wedding that’s really cool. This is part celebration of their blog’s anniversary. So when I was talking to Kai, one of the founder’s of Rebellious Brides, about a yacht party that can also be a benchmark for a wedding. Hyds and I volunteered to help out and shoot an editorial for this article. If you want to read the full article visit here
The way we shot this editorial was to treat it like a wedding complete with all the details.
Mica, one of the founders of Rebellious brides wearing “Palda” by Ryan Madamba, our uber talented designer and good friend.
Mikki and Nina Cuenca of Cuenca Jewelry getting their fashion game on.
Kai Cruz (RB Brides co-founder) looking great ala Gary Pepper Girl.
For the food, we wanted to highlight the culinary artistry of Q provisions, visit Rebellious Brides site for their exclusive promo.
Cyrus, the husband of Kai, hard at work making sure all the details are perfect.
Girls just wanna have fun, Mica, Kai and Nina looking great in their Palda by Ryan Madamba. A great sunset and a yacht, what more can we ask for a great afternoon party by Manila bay
And here are the guests looking great in their something red theme.
Hyds and I really had a blast with this party. We hope a brave couple would seriously consider a wedding reception like this one.
